I desperately need a paint code for the wheels
The paint code in the factory documents isn't a paint code that any paint place can reproduce, it doesn't come up. I need to paint my Brabus wheels and I have emailed Brabus USA about ten times!!!
I need to paint my wheels a factory looking silver, want the Brabus wheels to have a factory silver color but can't find any paint codes.
Please help!
thanks

I did a search on "wheel paint code"
wonder of wonders, this is the first one that comes up :
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...int-codes.html
NOTE: use the search box just after the top banner, not the one in the pulldown menu.

The three digit paint codes dont bring any results at paint stores for some reason. And that PDF won't open. Wonder of wonders indeed.
maybe not for you, but I opened the 'wheel repair' pdf, here is an excerpt :
PLEASE NOTE: Although this is a Porsche wheel, the Wurth Silver Wheel Paint is a perfect match
for Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and some VW wheels. It can also be used to completely
refinish any wheel. The following technique, explained in nice detail by "NASAraser of
AudiWorld.com", is a good way to do a small area repair if you curb your wheel or otherwise
damage a small area.

PDF wont open for me, can anyone give me the wurth paint code? None of my y local paint places can do anything with the XZA paint code.
Thanks
Thanks
You have the name of the Wurth paint, the Mopar part number and the name of the paint on the Crossfire wheels.
I think the wurth case scenario is the color match may be a bit of.
The paint shop said they can't use any of thst, they said they need a code, none of those bring up anything on their system.
I once had a similar article on fixing the curb rash but I cannot find it. The article claimed that several European cars had the same wheel paint.

I use a local Hubcap Annie for my curb rash repair. Search the name and call them. They have several locations in the US. They might agree to send you some primer and paint. I have had several wheels repaired and they look like new ones when the repair is completed.

As usual, you came through with a solution! I thank you and I'm sure the many recipients of your solutions thank you as well.
You have spent many hours gathering data for our use. I would consider you the true Crossfire expert.
Thank you.

If your paint shop cannot mix up a batch of paint from a modern 3 digit paint code it's time for you to find another. That paint code works fine for my local paint shops. Any paint shop worth beans will know the color you are after if you tell them it is the same color for Porsche, Vw, Audi, etc.. wheels.
