Potentially selling the '6...
Haha yes he did... I actually met up with him last summer, he wanted to see the car and was blown away at how smoooooootthhhhh the paint was. He was nuts over the wheels as well... Said it REALLY made him miss it.
Hate to see you have to let your car go.. but sounds like opportunity is on it's way to knock on your door. @#31 last year, this is probably real close to being in the bank this round. We still going to see you at the Dragon or planning to throttle back on expenses now?
John, if I needed a 12 sec. car, it would be a Crossfire. If I was buying an SRT I'd love to have yours. Especially because of the unique interior, not to mention the great condition.
(I love the wheels too).
Best of luck to you and your Wife with her new career aspirations, and it's good to know you will still be right here where we need ya.
I wish I could talk my Nephew into buying your car, I know he would really enjoy it. He lives in Mississippi, (just outside Memphis) so he's really not that far away from You either. Only problem, he's about 6'4" tall. But he's driven mine, so I think I'll give him a call.

good luck to both of you,, My Daughter and her husband are both P T's My daughter was 30 when she became a P T, and for the last 5 years loves it ,, the money is great also. jim
I can't say that I'm all that surprised John. We all have priorities in life and you're both too young to let a toy car get in the way of planting seeds for your future. Eventually, all of us will either sell and move on to the next toy car or die with our Crossy's sitting in the garage (like me, lol).
And besides, aren't you going to need a honkin' BIG SUV for all the John & Kim kiddos in a few years?
ps, how much for the wheels? J/K!

I'm sorry to hear that you have to part with a car that you have obviously loved but it is refreshing and heart warming to hear of a man and woman who are so willing to sacrifice for the good of the family. Yes, you are blessed with this woman but I think she is equally blessed. Good luck and hope to hear that you're searching for an SRT6 not too far down the line.
Where else is he going to find a Great SRT6 roadster when the wife is pulling in the big bucks later?

For those of you that don't know her, here's a picture of the future PT
John,
For all the time I have known you, you have always impressed me with you common sense and intelligent prose. I completely understand the logic, and the dilemma, of your decisions here.
I wish I could buy that car and put it away for you but alas, my world contains the same realities. Crumpy does her Noah impression when speaking to the rabbits. "Only two,,,,,only TWO!
As for the motivation of your decision, the only thing I can say is a rather crude offer. I would gladly donate my time and a pudgy, but anatomically correct, body upon which she could practice her skills.
BTW Thanks for posting this lovely picture of Nashville's up and coming power couple.
One look and no one can question your reasoning.
God bless.

I truly am thankful for the "family" that this forum has become. The encouragement from you all is truly heartwarming.
Time will tell on the sale of the car... I have peace about it either way.
