Default Problem with my crossfire

Thank you for adding me to the forum. I love my car,but lately it hates me. LOL!

I am having an issue with abs pump not shutting off. Even after you take out the key the pump continues to run and we have to disconnect the battery at every stop. I read that it may be the ignition switch, so we installed a new one. No change. Now the car has other symptoms now like the fuel pump wont come on and the window wiper wont turn off. I'm beginning to think its in the steering column or some relay that has something to do with all three of the issues. All help appreciated

The pump you talk of is probably the air pump on the front of the engine yes?
If so it is a sticky relay in the RCM.

Fuel pump may be a problem with the fuel pump relay in the RCM.

See this thread.

The pump I am talking about has the words abs on it and it has several metal lines going into it. It is right in front of the fusebox on the drivers side. I pulled the RCM and took a pic. Does it look like it needs soldering?

Did you ever find out what's causing your ABS pump to keep running? I'm having the same issue on my 2001 SLK230. The diagnostics results say to replace the ABS Control Module. I'm still looking at other possible problems.

Thanks
