Need Blower Motor!!!
Thanks Larry! I got one on ebay for $36. Dealership told me I had a bad resistor and of course it turned out to be the blower motor! They were going to charge me $350 just for the getting/installing the resistor. I can imagine how much it was gonna be AFTER they told me that I ALSO have a bad motor.
What was the blower motor doing exactly? Did it just quit or was there intermittent speed changes?

Since I couldn't put it in myself, it cost me $785 at dealership for a blower motor (part/installation). Mine didn't work at all. It Came in a Mopar box but had Mercedes on it. Dealerships overcharge everyone.
Labor at the average dealership is around $400 per hour (based on what I see on this forum). I suppose it breaks down like this:
Technician pay/benefits ----$45 per hour
Dealership cost of doing business ---- $45 per hour
Dealership fund to build their next Taj Mahal-type building ----- $310
Technician pay/benefits ----$45 per hour

Mine would blow at different speeds regardless is you changed the control or not...sometimes would not even work. In most cases its the resistor that attaches to the motor...ordered one off Ebay for 35.00, installed it myself...works like new. Going to the Stealership for anything: parts or service, will cost you both arms and both legs!!!...Carl

They even gave me the before and after printout.
( He couldn't correct the right rear camber, will have to order parts for the adjustable camber links, install them and take it back ).
NOTE: He said that alignment on our cars is actually EASIER than most he does.
