Keyfob intermittent issues
Not sure if I've seen anyone talk about this issue before? I've got a keyfob for my SRT-6 that I have to keep reprogramming or else the car seems to forget it's "paired" up with it.
It opens the doors and starts the ignition just fine with a turn of the physical key, but the buttons to open/close the doors remotely are the problem. I recently put fresh batteries in the keyfob, assuming that was the issue, but that didn't help. (A battery tester confirms the batteries have a good charge too.)
If I do the procedure to turn the ignition to the "run" position and press the door open button twice, it pairs up and works for maybe 2 or 3 times after that. Then the car quits responding to it again.

Nope... haven't noticed that.
Was wondering if anyone has seen this as a possible symptom of the scream module's batteries starting to fail though?

At the moment I can only think that the pump that actuated the locks is faulty but it does not fit the symptoms you state too well.
You should get another set of keys, not only as a back up in case you lost the ones you have but new ones could prove that it is the current fob that is at fault.

And it started acting up 3 weeks ago on the Dragon, no less. Finally expired after I'd been home for 2 days. Wife's OEM works fine and from an impressive distance. Mine-just-died.
Sometimes it would Unlock, but not lock. Sometimes it would. Sometimes-nothing.
