A week of ownership and already a few modifications (PIC HEAVY)
The stance would change a little, dropped a bit in front. I think that would look great on your car!
What is the correct spring tool that you used?
Thanks
Here's the correct Mercedes spring tool I used:

It's designed so you slip the 2 correct size cups into the spring then slip the long part up through the middle and do it up clamping the spring in position and simply pull it out and then the reverse to pop new one in, takes under 10 mins a corner

Looks great
I saw this one advertised on e bay with its "brabus" wheels. Looked a good buy.
I would go with the deep dish
Good to see the bids fitted thinking of ordering those myself now!

I've still not decided what I'm doing wheel wise as the wheels on it do really suit it and there one of the things that drew me to it when buying it.
It's changed a bit more on the car since the pictures in this thread, here's some of the latest pics:

And then there's the additional modification I made to the rear spoiler:

I had to resort to fitting the micro switch that way as I couldn't find any 12V triggers for lock and another for unlock and it ended up being a simple and straight forward way of doing it.
I actually wired them up straight through a 10A fused 12v 4 pin relay triggered by a 12v ignition switched source in the fuse box under the bonnet and I ran the wiring from there down to both fogs.
But if I had the wiring diagram for the LCM I would have done it all at the source so there wouldn't have been any need to run wires down to the front but at the time I didn't so that's why I did the way I did.
It was a very simple mod that took around 15mins as you can access the rear of the fogs through the 2 access panels in the splash shields

I did keep them in the end and I refinished them last week when I also carried out a big brake conversion:

Thanks for the positive feedback.
I've now also painted the door handle gloss black:

I also titnted the rear lights out by adding base coat black to lacquer and apply coats till the desired effect is reached that way they have a high gloss finish and still stay very translucent, but as soon as I refitted the them back into the car I was unsure they just didn't look right:

So last night I wet flatted the black back off and this morning I decided to do the same process but instead of adding base coat black to the lacquer I added Blaze Red base coat (the car colour).
I've literally only just painted them so there not hard enough to refit but here's a few pics:
One flatted back:

Mixing the paint:

And applied to the lights:

It's hard to get the camera to pick it up but all the different colours in the red and the metallic in it looks awesome:

I like that look at lot better then the smoked/blacked out look. Those pictures look very nice, and I do like the green calipers, bold but not tacky.
