Re: crossfire warning light
ok did one last thing with the module plug in i close number 2 relay with a piece of plastic all lights went out except the bas light spoiler worked so looks like the relay is not working or its not getting power to it have to check power coming to it to be sure right
Re: crossfire warning light
Ala-xfire and pizzaguy are both electrical engineers and have intimate knowledge of the circuitry and how it works But to answer your question yes more than likely the traction control relay has a short on the inside. Seems to be a common problem with these relays.
Re: crossfire warning light
You said you called the dealer, was that the Chrysler dealer or the Mercedes Benz dealer? 1705450305 is still a good part number with Mercedes-Benz and it's a lot cheaper, call your local Benz dealer and give them part number but don't tell him it's from a crossfire and see what their price is you may be surprised.
Re: crossfire warning light
That's a big yes to both questions.
Re: crossfire warning light
Yep I know what you mean I paid 225 dollars from my local Mercedes dealer it was the last one within a hundred miles , I had to have it my daily driver don't you know, popped it in fired it up and it has run like a top ever since.😉
