Towing
Re: Towing
In 3 miles, you are not going to hurt anything. ( make sure it's in neutral with parking brake off )
For long distance, a car trailer ( all 4 wheels off the ground ) is advised.
Why not just connect a tow strap to the front, put it in neutral and have someone pull you ?
( I know if it won't run that the steering will be a bit stiff, along with the brakes not being too good, but 3 miles should be doable )
Would probably need to know WHY you need to tow it to offer any further suggestions.

Re: Towing
I have a flat on the front passenger, and I have a two-wheel tow trailer. And I need new tires all the way around, so might as well do it now. So rather than take the wheels off, get new tires, put them back on my car, take it back and get it balanced/aligned, I'll just tow it up there.
I see a problem with using a tow dolly, front end to high, rear end to low, bump and fascia on back of car left setting in road.
Had mine towed once, towing company would not touch it unless it was with a roll back. Tow at your own rise.
Re: Towing
Why not just remove the wheel with the flat, drop it off at the tire shop, and then when you get it back drive the Crossfire to the shop for the other 3 wheels? Or why not reinflate the flat tire, repair it with a vulcanized rubber plug if possible, and then drive it to the shop?
