Steve, you're playing coy. The power seats in here cars are a common failure point. So, you're going to want to get the unit in the seat replaced (usually that's the solution). It'll be a solved problem in the big list of solutions that should be in my signature.

Edit: damn, signature still didn't work: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...s-repairs.html

Both seats presently don't work. They have failed and started again twice in the last few months. Fuses are fine. I have heard maybe the relay; where is it? Thanks

I was just replacing my headliner I reupholstered yesterday and my seats also decided to die.

Start beneath the steering wheel and locate a single screw. Remove. Grab the plastic Y shaped piece it was holding and pull to remove it. Continue to remove each screw connecting the plastic below the steering wheel, find a few hex scews on the underside, one phillips in the fuse box cover, one hidden by the the hood latch release. Eventually you'll be able to pull it down.

Look to the left of the steering wheel inside the dash and locate a small square black box, it's the seat relay. Pull it out. Pry it open. Inspect the circuit board. Likely there is a connection inside that the solder is dry and cracked. Resolder.

Alternatively, buy a new relay for $30 (generic) or $60 (OEM) and replace.

There are not many problems that have not arisen before and have had the solution found. Here is a PDF that I did when I had similar seat problems. In my case a 10 cent diode solved the problem.

To gain access to the relay the lower dash panel with the bottom cover still attached can be dropped or just the bottom cover can be removed. Do not separate the two halves of the bottom cover as it is more awkward to replace when the job is done. How to get to the relay is described in the following PDF that tells you how to fix the sticky key problem. While you are doing this seat fix you should think of doing the sticky key fox if you have not done so and if it applies to your cars year.

Many fixes are explained in this link, "Index of Crossfire problems ...." shown in my signature.

Service manuals, parts manuals, owners manuals, option lists and many other documents can be found in this link.
