Default Mystery wet oily under entire Crossfire!

Went outside today. It had not rained. The asphalt around all my other vehicles and under them were dry....but not with the Crossfire . It had a strange oily wet area that looked like a full set shadow under car. It completely and exactly traced the entire under shape of my car exactly. Even around the tires, with a dry spot only where the tires touched the ground . There also appeared be a dry area only under the covered gas tank. When I it touched the ground, it seemed wet like water with a slight oil in it. I looked under the car body and it appeared dry. What caused this?

This is my post and I totally agree. I have a great mechanic and he is baffled ,too. A leak of any type would be isolated to a spot. Even if it spread out,it would not exactly cover the entire bottom of the vehicle. If it were purely condensation based, it would be pure water with no oily feel. When I backed the car up, it looked like an exact wet shadow of the shape of the csr, with dry areas only were the tires touched the ground and a two foot by one foot dry area under where the gas tank is. This is so weird!

Ha, ha! It started raining here two days later. When all the rain dries out in a few days, if the oily shadow in the exact shape of a Crossfire is still there, I am going to take a picture and put it on you tube! What should I put for a caption?

Sounds like condensation to me, moist air with driveway warmed by the sun except for under the car.

It is all gone now. Must have been condensation! Oil? Who knows?
