I've put an atiwe airbag steering wheel in mine and I had to wire in a resistor on one of the wires to remove the air bag light and retrofit the plug for the dual stage system on the other wire. An 04-05 would have made that installation bolt on/plud and play.

People on the forum have been suggesting that the cloth seats are more supportive.
There was no base XF in 2004, there was only one model which was basically the car called a limited in 2005.

Buy a manual NA! Roadsters are probably cool but a pain if you have to replace the top. My 07 is super easy to drive around town and not bad in traffic at all. It's my daily driver. I'm sure that automatics will make the car feel dated at times. Nobody seems to like that transmission in the reviews. Paddle shifter or not, I doubt the response is there to make it feel decent in and out of corners.

Srt6 = straight line speed and cruiser
6 speed NA = Corners and total control

Well I'm hooked. I bought my 07 SE roadster ten years ago, and added an 04 coupe around 5 years ago. Both are manuals which I enjoy. I have a long commute to work, so I prefer to use a Dodge Charger as my every day driver. Its an automatic and more comfortable. No question I would buy the Crossfires again.

Nick: Welcome. Spend the extra few grand and get a SRT-6 Roadster (If you can find one). Although Crossifres in general are slow to appreciate in value, the low production numbers (depending on who you talk with...Chrysler says 928 built) of the SRT-6 Roadster are incrementally appreciating nicely every year. If and when you buy one, depending on your pocketbook, add the 2 K&N intake filters and a free flow exaust to make her breathe easier and get about 35 more horsepower. There are a lot of mods available if you want to spend the money.
