Default DRBIII scan tool for 2004 - what works??

I had to replace a pass door due to a deer who laughed and walked away. I had the car in my garage for a year before I put it back together. I messed up and connected power before I had the pass airbag connected (the one that came with the replacement door). Anyway my airbag light is on. I'm sure the system is okay but it probably saw no pass bag and set a code. Removing battery cables has no effect. I might as a last resort (with a .001% chance of success) hook up the original airbag from the damaged door since I have nothing to lose anyway.

SO HERE IS MY QUESTION....

For a 2004 Crossfire does anyone know for sure of a DRBIII scan tool that can be bought for under $200 that will definitely reset the SRS airbag light? I know the 2004 does not need some of more advanced scan features that the later model years needed - like 2007/8
I wold rather spend the money on a tool that will work rather than spend it at a dealership for 5 minutes of work. I had no airbag issues so I know I caused the issue!

I actually found a site that says they can reset the box if it is mailed to them. Looking into this as an option for $50 plus mailing probably.

https://www.safetyrestore.com/chrysl...ule-reset.html

Anyone try this service for their Crossfire?

I have a Launch CRP123 - it has proven itself in resetting airbag faults.

DRBIII is actually the name for the Chrysler scan tool which runs used around $2,000.

I also have a Launch scanner tool which I've used to clear air bag faults, It's quicker and easier to pull out and clear the code.

I spent a few hours reading through the forums and it looks like the best solutions are the iCarsoft MBII and the Launch CRP123 which is what both of you appear to use. I think I will just order one of those. It looks like a hell of a lot of work to pull out the module to send it in. Probably not worth my time let alone what tabs I will probably break getting the console apart.
