Where did it come from? Is there a part number for it? Do those replacement key FOB's have the same ones as our XF FOB's?

I"m thinking of one of these for the passenger seat - after last weekend on the Sunset Cruise - one passenger seemed to think she needed one.

 

The red panic button came from a replacement key fob shell. I bought 2 from ebay and messed one of them up switching the internal parts .

Thanks, my last OEM FOB works great but the red button slowly rotting away.

Both of my original OEM fobs had all the buttons rotted and worn. I ordered two black replacement fobs from the net but since the originals were working I procrastinated opening them to swap the internals. Then one day I just pulled the black and red rubber sections off the replacementa and saw how easy it was. They just press in, at least on mine. Good as new now.

 

My wife won’t ride with me unless she has this in hand

 

This isn't free but on ebay for $3.58 I bought it just for the panic button the fob will work with our internal parts but our key part will only open to 87 degrees instead og 90 degrees
