Default Attention all Automatic Transmission Drivers...

How many of you, on average, start out in D and leave it there?

......under normal driving:
How many of you paddle the shifter up and down through the gears?
Other than going past the recommended RPMs in a particular gear, are there any long range negatives to using the paddle?
Are there certain situations where you normally downshift?

.....competitive driving?

Question 2.
How many of you turn the radio up full blast and Scream out your favorite song ?
Windows up or down?
what are your favorites?

Sometimes I drive it like a stick and sometimes as an auto. I down shift more than upshift. I believe the limiter would keep you from red lining.

I read somewhere in the manual (I believe) that even if you have it in a certain gear, it'll up or downshift anyway based on how fast or slow the wheels are going vs the RPM's and pedal depression at the time.

It is programmed not to self destruct.
I have paddle shifters as well and I hardly ever use them either, nice to have the paddles though.
