IMHO, you don't want to scrimp on oil, brakes, and tires. If it is a summer car, Hankooks, else Continentals or Pirellis. But it is your life.

.

The biggest hindrance on proper care/operation of any vehicle, is the drivers lack of ability (including a lack of a dash or two of common sense)...

The Uniroyal GTZ- 2 Tiger Paws that I put on my are are performing well. These are not cheap tires, they are manufactured in the U.S.A at Woodburn, Indiana plant owned and operated by the Michelin Tire Company. I feel I'm in good hands with tires made by Michelin and manufactured in the U.S.A. Uniroyal has been making tires since 1892

Michelin or Good Year Eagle, either brand but always the ALL SEASON type. I have run Michelin tires on every type car I've owned; best ride, looks, and wear.
