Smile FYI about the key chip

I have a 2006 Chrysler crossfire, what I did I thought was pretty cool, I took the transmitter chip out of my key fob and attached it to my ignition ring so that all I have to do if I wanted to get a another key is get the key made and get another key fob circuit board. It works ( I don't have to get another chip for two keys)

GREAT idea, you just took the cost of the key down to a few bucks, quite possibly!

As long as it doesn't get damaged being exposed.

That certainly makes hot wiring the car much simpler, who needs a key.

Yea, but if his car sits in the garage like mine does, who cares?
I seldom leave the car unattended.

Who’s car spends all it’s time in a garage, this is not a novel idea anyway as it has been mentioned before in
various threads.
I just think you feel ornery today.😀
