Hi guys, any advice on removing the pillars surrounding the windscreen? Not sure if they are plastic and have clips or how they are fixed. Looking to have mine wrapped as the sun has caused them to bubble/peel. Thinking it would be a lot easier if I could remove them to do it. Have a 2006 crossfire

FWIW- I wrapped my windshield surround a couple of years ago without removing the trim pieces. It had a couple of rock chips on the top piece and I didn't particularly like the silver color against he black paint of the car. If you wrap it yourself you might find it easier to leave the surround in place.
Will keep that in mind thanks buddy. The wrap arrives tomorrow so will definitely look into not having the remove the trims if I don’t have to! Looks good by the way! Yeah mines silver on a grey car and makes it look tacky I think not being colour matched! Felt the same way
I went with VViViD XPO Black Carbon Fiber with "Air Release Technology" vinyl wrap. Watched a bunch of videos on YouTube and then did some practice pieces. A heat gun helps and some sharp cutting tools.

definitely be careful taking them off. I did it a million years ago to get them painted and I cracked my windshield
NEVER use a screwdriver or metal putty knife to remove the windshield trim (causing damage to the glass), plastic trim removal tools (sell for $4-6) must be used. You may also want to take it to a glass installer and have them remove the trim for a nominal price.
Just my 2 cents.... Dennis

I appreciate the mention dedwards0323.
I had never done mine before I made that post.
Patience is the key and measure out where the clips ate located, then mark the windshield with tape, chalk or a crayon.
Start with the top piece when removing, start with the side pieces when re-installing.
I've gone over 110 in my car and didn't lose anything.

Really nice work! I would have never imagined doing this!
Thanks. There's a guy on YouTube "CK Wraps" that does some incredible work. Most everything is available through Amazon. I played around with tinting the tail lights and rear badge.

Wonder if this product would work on the 'plain jane' badge on the Crossfire Airbox?
