Default Just purchased SRT-6, new to forum and performance questions

I just purchased a 2005 SRT-6 Coupe, 68K miles. Few issues when I had an initial inspection, bad tread patterns (needs alignment), no problem. Steering stabilizer was leaking ($30 ebay).
No active or any serious past codes saved. Previous owner didn't know how to install HID's, so I'm picking up stock bulbs. Driver valve cover leaking, fixing in a few days.
Driving home from Pensacola to Navarre went okay, the car hadn't been run in a month, I let it warm up, drove to the nearest gas station and filled up premium with injector cleaner. Start driving home, everything is okay, I can feel the tires being bald on the inside. Performance is good, however half the time while driving at highway speed, it doesn't seem the supercharger is doing much when trying to accelerate. From a standstill it'll wind up and speed away as expected, yet sometimes nothing at all will happen when floored. Any advice for a new crossfire owner?
Any help would be appreciated, I will be contributing to this forum for the next few years.
Thank you in advance,
Cody

The IC pump has failed, it is the #1 reason the SC does not work when the coolant gets too hot.
Read these posts found when using 'IC pump' in the Google search function.

You must buy the part where the part number ends in 010, not the original part number, ends in 03(?)
The new part can be purchased for about $110 from FCP Euro or $130 from NeedsWings.

All this info is on this forum and probably in the thread above.

Hi there, Chuk from the Florida Crossfire Group. You can order the pump from the link I've provided. I've installed 4 already, so I can help if needed. Find us on facebook if you have an account. We are pretty active and do maintenance days often.

Hi Codyktt,

Congratulations on your SRT6 (post some photos) and welcome to the forum. The SRT6 is the best sports car value on the planet AND you're already checking here for advice and troubleshooting. There are many experienced and knowledgeable members here and the forum has a wealth of information about the Crossfires. Stay away from the stealerships! They know little or nothing about these cars and alot about taking your money. You're off to a good start . . .

Think about attending one of the upcoming Crossfire Get-To-Gethers (look in the Crossfire Meets section of the forum) . . . ENJOY!

I appreciate all the replies so far. I'll check out the get-togethers. I ordered the IC pump, should be here in a few more days. Just received the steering stabilizer, I'll be bolting that on this weekend. Replaced stock headlights, previous owner was into the cheap mods. Peeled and cleaned most all plasti-dip so far. Still have driver side valve cover to do, I've read up on Mike's DIY. I also need new front tires, any suggestions?
Thank you all,
Cody

I've been running Nexen N3000 tires. I've been very happy with them. Not too expensive, nice aggressive tread pattern good wet and dry traction and a high wear rating . . . I run the stock size 225 40 ZR18 front and oversize 275 30 ZR19 rear . . .

Awesome! Prior AF here too. I used to be stationed at Tyndall from 98-01. Played some ball over at Hurlburt and Eglin. Always remember never forget, IYAAYAS!
