HELP! - No Remote Turn on from Scosche Harness
I followed the below thread and purchased the Scosche wiring harness. After connecting up the lead to the new Alpine harness, I noticed there is no blue remote turn on wire on the Scosche harness. So, now it won't turn on the factory amdp and I get no sound. I called Crutchfield and they said I have to run the speakers and everything directly into the factory amp. It doesn't seem right since I just need to tap into the factory amp turn on lead. Does anyone know what color wire that is? Thanks.

When I got the harness in that thread, there was a remote turn on wire in the bag, that was not pushed into the harness yet, it was just loose. It came with a note about hooking it up. Since didn't have a factory amp and installed my own amp, i ran the remote turn on wire staright from the deck.
I would check the harness bag if you still have it to make sure it wasn't lose inside of it.

Anyone else have had this issue?
I had the same problem. If you bought it from Crutchfield like me, then you probably got their crappy instructions. It says the pink wire is only used if you have some old Audi or something. It's the remote wire. I just did my install a couple weeks ago and I had to go back and wire it in.
Hope that helps. There was a red/white wire that I didn't use at all.
