Default FM modulator question / survey

Those of you who installed an FM modulator to hook up your MP3 player- where did you put the switch and where did you put the wire that connects to the MP3 player? The xF interior is so sealed that I am not sure where a wire would come out and where it could be coiled up out of the way when not in use. Thanks.

Guy

If drilling a 1/4" hole doesn't bother you, consider mounting a jack in a panel for the 1/8" mini-plug.

I put the wires thru the side wall of the glove campartment and mounted my sirius radio in the glove box. With the glove box closed no wires or players are visible.

I ran the wire out behind the head unit, down through the console and along the tunnel to the console, put the player inside the console with the wire coming out through the cover (enough gap that it still closes fine. I just had to remove the seat warning light panel and the panel surrounding the stick (std) to have access.
