adding oem navagation
I am considering adding a OEM navigation system to my crossfire. How well does the navagation work. is it worth it? thanks in advance

Biggest problem is that in addition to getting a Navi headunit, you need to get and install the Satellite antenna, and I don't know how much of a pain that would be. Seems like a lot. I do have my navi unit uninstalled, but I think I might keep it in case I want to sell the car. However, I saw one on ebay for over 400, if that sold I might have to sell mine too.

issues with oem navi
1) maps get outdated, i don't think anyone here has updated cd-roms
2) not being able to see several streets ahead in a map display, on oem you just get directional arrows with upcoming street and distance verbal message
3) cd's get scratched
4) shares the same cd player as you're music cd's so you're going to have to pull out music cd or map depending on what you're doing.
