Default Motorsports Hero

The Motorsports Hero's are in. This amazing little camera comes with more way to mount than a Palomino.

Made some quick videos using a number of locations.

Not only is this one of the smallest digital video cameras, but it is also a 3MP still camera as well.

Here are some pics taken with camera.

I have them in stock and ready to ship. This was one of the most popular items at SEMA this year. They have been very positively reviewed by a number of sites over the Internet.

The suggested retail for the kit is $179.99. Forum members can get them for the price of the standard unit without all the various auto quick mounts. Forum member cost is only $139.99 plus $10 S&H.

If you look at the picture that shows all the parts, you will see that there are multiple ways and locations that you can mount with either heavy duty suction cup or quick release mounts.

Some features

Auto exposure, 3MP, F 2.8 glass lens.
Supports up to 2GB SD card (not included)
10 second built-in self timer
30 FPS video 512X484 up to 1 hr recording capability
USB/RCA cable included
Comes with two Alkaline AAA batteries (NiMH rechargables recommended)
Works with Windows ME/2000/XP/Vista and Mac OS 9.1/10.2 and later

A great way to record and show your track days and kills.

Ready for immediate shipment. Send me a PM with your email address.

Hey FP, it makes a great hood ornament as well LOL

How do you operate the camera when it's mounted outside the car?

At this price point it is a manual affair. Turn on, get in and go. Stop, turn off and watch. I am just amazed at the number of mounting clips it comes with so you can quickly change locations for the permanent mounts. Of course the Panavise suction cup can be placed anywhere there is a flat surface. The new clear polycarbonate housing is dustproof and waterproof. Although at first glance it looks the same, it has been completely redesigned to ensure protection against vibration.

Bump again....

I still have 3 left. These are great tools to record your track "victories".

Will let these go below cost. MSRP is $179.95 USD plus S&H

My blowout price is $125 USD including S&H to continental US (feel free to search the web for a lower price)

I ran across this video with the camera mounted on the side of the car. It really shows how good the clear polycarbonite case works when it gets wet.

I'll be posting some footage I shot with mine on the road course at California Speedway during the past couple days. At $125 these are a steal!!! The professional photographer who was shooting during the event rents these - for $60 a day!!!

Our sessions were 20 minutes each and with just a couple of minutes to go before each run I hopped out of the car and hit the button to start recording. After 20 minutes of track time and the time it took to get back to my pit area (a few seconds shy of 25 minutes in total) I'd used about 865MB of space on a 2GB SD card, so two sessions fit easily onto that 2GB card. So it looks like you can a full hour onto a single 2GB card.

I have my first attempt at using this camera on a nice local canyon road HERE

That's definitely a nice deal for the $$. I guess I went a bit overboard with my $400 Cannon Elura... but you gotta admit I got great shots Mike...

Next time we attend an event together I'll make sure to get some chase shots of you and following shots of you... you must do the same and we can swap... THEN we will have some kick-A$$ videos to post...

Still have a couple left....Check the Internet for Motorsports Hero......the lowest price listed is $169.99 USD not including S&H!

Final price is $120 USD delivered to Continental US.

This is below wholesale cost for a great little video camera with car mounts...

Going on vacation and need the $$$$
