Default Stereo Problem

When I first bought my car (about a month ago) the sound system was great (stock infinity system). I had a huge system in my Jeep before that with a JL Audio amp and a multitude of speakers and such and my Crossfire system still impressed me. It sounded clear and crisp and the subs would thud my back anytime I wanted them to. Now, it sounds rather sad. The volume only increases until about 30 then no more the rest of the way till 40. The subs show very little signs of life with no felt vibrations and the sound is rather distorted at high volumes and the volume doesn't reach the levels it used to. Has anyone had any problems such as this? Did I accidentally press the "awesomeness off" button or something?

Exclamation Re: Stereo Problem

Somewhere in the bowels of the controls/menus is a setting for "flat".
Maybe you found that?

Press the "AUD" key once, and you will see the tone controls.
