JRindustries Ipod/Iphone docking station
Just got our Iphone docking station back from the painter. These can be ordered specifically for your Iphone or Ipod with a custom dock. I have mine set up with just an apple cord so I can run either. This can also be ordered just as a cubby hole to put something in. If you have a custom interior done we can paint to match the exterior, or they can be painted to match the interior. The center is about a hands lenght deep and is completly wrapped in felt. Prices start at $70- $80 dollars for the cubby and go up from there depending on color, dock or cord. Also here is a picture of the Ipod heads up display we did for Nox1 that works with the stock radio. Shoot me a PM if you have anymore questions or if anyone is intrested.

That's pretty nice.
One suggestion - you might want to offer relocation of the air bag warning light. Though it mainly serves to indicate when the air bag on the passenger side is turned off, it also acts as a warning light to indicate if there is a problem with the air bag system. Burying the light so that it can no longer be seen is a bit risky. As you probably know, the center portion of the socket is removeable from the panel so can be put into some other location along with the lamp/lead.

it looks a bit hacked, I'de rather have it looks stock, but with a push button locking door, instead of a huge hacked open hole in the dash.
Design it to look slick like the coin holder. perfect place for another secret compartment. You can do better than this JRIndustries.

Maybe it's not your style, but it definitely is professional and looks very clean.

Thanks for your input though guys it helps guide us to what people like and want to see.
sorry for being too harsh,
if this was going into my Chevy pick up truck, I'de say you got a winner, but it's not a boring chevy interior. it has class and style inside, with architecturaly modern design themes. A big hole in the dash just doesn't cut it.

I have my iPod out of sight and run by the head unit, *****, display and all. Out of sight but fully controllable at my fingertips.
The panel with the air bag light could be modified to be a "secret" panel and have a little push-pop-open sort of closure. Then it would trump where I keep my iPod now. And it would be real slick. Especially if the air bag light stayed put and operational!
Look at how the coin tray is done - would be the same principle...
For that, I would pay $80. For what you have, I'd spend my $80 on a dremel and do it myself.

can you spot the holes?
I really like what I've seen from you so far. I disagree with the haters. You obviously have talent and know how that most of us don't have.
Looks great and could be set up with the dataloggers that plug into palm pilots. Or a good place to store my timeslips. I don't care about the light, no one is on that side of the car when I'm racing.

Any chance you'll be making a cool Blackberry dock version of this for those of us business people who don't see ourselves as the indie guy on the right who can't even tuck in his shirt before he goes on TV in front of Millions of viewers?
Never thought of a Blackberry dock I guess I would have to look into what would need to be done. Isnt it just a mini usb plug ? Pretty much this can be made to work with anything it is just a matter of running a cord through the back of the cubby if you will. lol and I cant till you the last time I tucked my shirt in.
