Default Best Headunits??

Hey, I'm lookin to do the headunit next in the car, but im unsure as to what headunits best fit the cars look, as well as to which provides things like mp3 and quality of sound. I know jvc makes a fully touch screen 5.4in headunit for about 450 bucks on crutchfield, but the checkout description said things like... you can no longer use your subwoofers, everything has to be rewired.. etc etc... sooo i was concerned and didnt want to buy it or any other units if it was going to cause more trouble than pleasure... thanks for the help!!

Hi,i just installed the deck you are refuring to.Although i did a complete scap, including removing the factory amp.I do not see any reason you can not use your sub woofers. If you get the wiring harness and follow the directions on the package (except you have to reverse the yellow and red wires ) it should be plug and play.I on the other hand would highly suggest you do the same as i did. It was easy. I got the wiring diagram for the system, removed the amp under the passenger footwell, cut the outboard plug right off, attached spade crimp on connectors, picked up 2 terminal strips, and attached and put spades on speaker wires coming off my amp(S).If you want a rocker this is the only way to go!I am still running the factory speakers, got a jl 13 tw5-3 sub,a jl 500v2 slash series to power it along with 2 old punch 200 dsm amps i had since the mid 90,s 1 to power my fronts and 1 to power my rear subs( if you can call them subs.)Any ways you wont wont be disapointed with the deck kd avx 77 i assume. It is loaded Good luck
