The warning beeper that sounds when you leave the headlights on upon exiting, or beeps when you complete cycling the convertible top has failed.

It started out by sounding very sickly (like if it was wet) for about two days then nothing.

I have the factory service manual, but can't find where this device is located.

Any ideas?

 

I think that it is under the dash pad on the left side of the dash cluster.
