removing the radio trim

Default removing the radio trim

adding the nav antenna, used the search function to no avail,
how do i remove the trim around the temp control switches/radio?

You pry it off very carefully, use a trim stick. Do not use a screwdriver if you value the finish.

trim stick? is that in the kit from walmart? i got the top 2 tabs loose but couldnt get the others to pop out and was hoping for any tricks... got the wires today, thanks!

You have to take the stereo out, and then there are some screws that need to be removed. I have had mine apart a couple of times. Download the 2005 SRT-6 Service Manual from here, and you will find detailed instruction on how to remove all the pieces. https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ollection.html Don't worry that it is for SRT-6, as it has information for the NAs as well.

Yes after you remove the radio, there is two screws that hold it in place behind the radio near the top of the panel just below the a/c vent, then it should just pop off.

The screws.

A trim stick is a wood or plastic prying tool.
