My New Headunit - JVC KD-AVX77
*UPDATE* Uploaded a new custom Crossfire wallpaper to the headunit. I always new I could do it, just never got around to it until now.
Well, it's not really new at this point, considering I bought it new and had it installed a year ago, but it still kicks some major ***... By far the best overall head unit I've ever owned. Not the best for amazing music reproduction, but you can't beat a full length touch screen plus Ipod connectivity for video and music plus the ability to play dvds... It helped keep me awake and entertained on a 26 hour road trip to Boise, Idaho last year and several other long trips since, so I think I got my money's worth...

Looks great! I just picked up a AVX44 with the half screen and I can't wait to put it in on Saturday. Did you ground the light green parking brake wire to get it to play while moving?
Some buddies of mine that own an install shop did it for me. I didn't want to take the chance of messing something up, haha.
Yeah, it's set up so I can watch videos on the road. I have a 120 GB iPod dedicated to it in my glovebox with about 25 movies, 26 GB of music and about 40 music videos. I'm on a road trip from Minnesota to Indy right now, just finished watching Ginger Snaps.

What I do know is that we did the opposite of whatever the installation guide said to do, because the guide tells you to install it so that you can't view movies while in motion. So if it tells you to ground it, hook it up to 12V, and vice versa.

Lot's of live jam sessions that don't make it to audio CD's...
But now I download the DVD's to my iPhone and play them.
