Rear Speaker Pods
Well, OK, seems like you used alot of space for 2 small speakers IMO. Have you considered connecting the round boxes just a bit where they meet and putting in some 12's?
How do the 6x9s sound? I would think having them angled up to blast towards the front would increase the sound quality

The sound and bass are great on these 1400 watts, these are wake tower speakers. I still have to wrap them I might bring them closer. They were put that way just for the pic. Also they don't have to be angled when the hatch is closed the window will deflect the sound foward.

You keep referencing 1400 watt, are these speakers capable of 1400 watts or are you actually giving them somewhere near that?
With most car audio I see that is inexpensive, they generally boast incredibly (inflated) high figures for wattage that if you actually applied a quarter of what it is rated at, they would blow (but since the amps they sell are drastically over rated it generally works out). Whenever someone comes to me and says they have a 2000 watt system and I see 8 guage wire, I laugh - hysterically.
What are the type of speakers? we just installed some tower infinity's on our nautique last year....

Where did you run the 0 or 2 guage wire it would take to run a 1200 watt amp? Do you have an additional battery or a capacitor? Do you see any draw from your electrical system (first sign in flickering headlights) when you are really cranking it up?
Their is a plug under battery tray where you can bring it in and run under door sill plate up and over to back. for the lights and draw you can hook up a VOLTAGE STABILIZER to battery. No need for cap hookup for long draw just have car running. This was the same setup I had on my show truck.
Also I think wake tower speakers have more of a punch than regular speakers because of magnet size. I have done to many installs over the years just a hobby. I like my boom boom, I have never bought a already made box, I make all of mine.

There are no car speakers in the existence that produce 1400 watts continuous power. It is max power that they can sustain for a short period of time before they break. The most powerful speakers that i am aware work on 120-130w RMS, continuous, power and they cots from $800-$1600 for a pair.
I just noticed that these are not car speakers
Anyway, those look like Boss MRWT69 which works on 275rms which is allot
Please don't get me wrong, i am not trying to trash and bash, but to merely educate people a little bit more because allot of people do not know that.

Yes they are 1400 watt peak but will handle 1200 amp all day long. Also as you mentioned that they will be deflected of the window, they are losing the sound quality. Then why do so many car companys have that setup? A lot of how a car system built is how the sound is deflected in side.

Technically subwoofers are still speakers...just designed for low frequency output
Sorry i'm a lil tipsy and having fun

I can name at least 10 subwoofers off the top of my head that can take 1400 RMS.

Ok, well I have some high end wake board tower SPEAKERS ($600 a pair infinitys) that take 150W RMS and 450W peak, and I HIGHLY doubt these speakers are capable of anything much more than 1/10th the 1400 watts they claim LOL
Not trying to bash anyone, just speaking of the facts, Ohms law does not lie....
This one can handle more than 2000 watts, but it won't fit in the Crossfire trunk - lol.
