I have the jvc -77 in mine and it has the quick mute function. it's the button on the top right side of the unit. I liked the radio so much that I bought a second one to put in my truck, replacing the Alpine that I had in it. I also have a after market remote (super small) that I have stuck on the console just behind the right window switch. It works great (cheap on e-bay), you can drive along with your hand resting on the console and completley operate the radio. The remote also has the quick mute button on it. I've had lots of radios (and installed them) in my time and this is one of the best I've ever had.

The stereo is here, but no camera.
Where the hell am I going to install the satellite radio receiver and JVC interface?

I'd be interested in knowing why you chose the -77 over the -44. I like them both but am thinking the aspect ratio on the -77 display seems too wide. Also, was the wiring just a matter of an adapter?

The aspec is fine. Picture quality is perfect. With the adapter plug and antenna adapter it's a plug and play.

Anyone know how to adjust the settings so that the camera is automatically displayed when reverse is selected on the AVX-44 or 77?

EDIT: I figured it out.
