Default Custom 10" fiberglass enclosures

Well what do you think?

Finally finished installing my system after roughly 1-1/2 - 2 months of fabercation as i was looking for factory clean installation.

Headunit - Parrot Asteroid
Amps - JL xd 600/1 and Jl xd 400/4
Door components - JL evolution c5
Midbass woofers -2 -Jl 6w3's
Subs - 2 - JL 10w3's

Doors, bulkhead and the entire rear of the car is double layered with dynamat. From the bulkhead back I installed upholstery foam and then new carpeting. All the rear trim pieces have been reattached with bolts that have color matched low profile caps.

Nothing is visable all wires under carpet, both amps installed in factory location which turned out to be ideal due to the cold air duct already there.

Unfortunately I dont have many pictures since i didnt know about this forum until today. I will work on getting more.

I am actually thinking i might sell those boxes and make new ones that can fit 2 - 10's per side.

I read the thread title and was expecting something awful.. I was ready to give you my opinion... but that is honestly the cleanest sub box I have seen on a crossfire. Nice work!

Thanks for all the great comments! This was my first time working with fiberglass however after a few hours you get into the groove. The carpeting was the hardest as i had to start over a few times due to the glue on my hands getting on the carpet.

Looks sweet! Did you figure in the optimum enclosure size for best performance? I would think two of them should rattle the glass enough.

Yes and No. It takes roughly 2 minutes to unbolt the box then its as simple as lifting carpet up. Since we dont have spare tire not to big of a deal.

Once i had the first half of the shell done, (back side) I filled a 12x12x12 box full and sand which equals one cubic foot which these subs require in a sealed box. It then took tons of trials and errors measuring, cutting, hot glueing and rewrapping the fabric until perfect.

They sound great however they do require cutting the stock brackets. I also used the great stuff foam and dynamat to help drive the mids.

Well your hu picture didn't show up on my end, seems I'd looked into the Parrot..andriod based isn't it? Seems it had a couple issues, but sounded like the software techs were staying on top of updates to. Looked like a sweet unit. Sounds like you've about put in enough to pay for a turbo system..l. Once the wife recovers from this expense I might get to sneak a few bucks over for sound system upgrades.. MAYBE..lol. Just one of the things I love about this forum.. such a variety of people..thoughts..and talents..

EDIT:..picture showed up..lol

If all goes well I will be selling the enclosures and subs.

I just started a new enclosure that will fit (2) - 8" subs per side. Last weekend i started planning and measuring the bulkhead that covers the gas tank as i want to fit (4) - 4" mid bass drivers there.
