I still can't make my mind up
I prefer the look of the Parrot and the fact your not limited to an iPhone is a plus (my Mrs has a Blackberry) but on the other hand the Apps are a little limiting and you still have external wires for iPhones etc
The Oxygen O'Car look ugly (in my opinion) although I'm yet to see one fitted to an XF and also like to know if it fits properly (I've read on other forums that people have had to modify their dashes because the iPhone is wider than the stereo, on the plus side it would allow me to use all the Apps on my iPhone including Tom Tom.
I really would like to see one fitted before I finally decide.

Yes, I have an iphone but i will be usingmy ipod or sd card when I get the parrot asteriod. Also the parrot is plug and play for our cars, we do not need to buy another harness do not know about the oxygen deck.
I already have Tom Tom on my iPhone but I also need something with Full European coverage, but I need it and the phone to connect through the Bluetooth if it does that, then its a winner.
I have the Parrot in my slk32
It was a huge improvement from the original Blaupunkt (you have a Jensen oem?). Parrot does have problems, the apps are very weak to the point I dont use them hardly, it crashes and reboots once every few weeks, slow boot up....but I still will keep it. I use my ipod for my main music store, bluetooth & wifi hotspot to my iPhone. Plug & play with oem ISO harness was a bonus!

takes ~30 seconds
also other notes:
have to manually adjust lighting for day/night, done by a push of the control ****
bluetooth handsfree phone audio is great, people say I sound clearer on that than phone itself
when browsing a music source, artist by name, can not jump to a letter - have to scroll by spinning a **** which is a real pain when you have 20g's loaded

Here's a quick update, The Parrot Asteroid arrived very quickly from Amazon and it is pretty much plug a play but I wanted all the cables in all the right places so removed the centre console etc. Anyway yesterday was the acid test. We drove around 70 miles to a UK meet and the unit performed faultlessly and streamed music from my iPhone while also transmitting navigation instruction from the TomTom app on my iPhone.
So this morning I thought I'd take some pictures and sing the units praises. Opps, 'Houston we have a PROBLEM' the unit won't even switch on, checked all the fuses, all ok there, still nothing. I press the reset button behind the front panel, still nothing, so I go for broke and hold the reset button in for 10 seconds or so. Switch the unit back on and hey presto we have the Parrot welcome screen, but thats it doesn't move off that screen and you can't get rid of it either, even if I switch the ignition off its still there.
Looks like Amazon will be getting this back, unless Parrot come up with a solution and QUICK!

a quick update...
I had to remove the HU to get the Serial Number for the Technical Help section on the Parrot Forum. While waiting for them to come back to me, I started wondering now the unit has been out of the car a while would it work if I refitted it now?
Eureka!
It lives!
