Default Crossfire won't start

Hi Guys,
I'm hoping maybe someone can give me a hand with my Crossfire. We've owned it for so long without any issues and now it's been off the road for nearly 3 months.
It went for new tyres, we took the workshop the key, came out to start it and it wouldn't start. Originally nothing happened when we turned the key. An auto electrician thought it may be the ecu as there was no power going to the starter motor. We had the ecu tested and it came back fine. All the electrical connections have been tested and resoldered if needed.
We charged up the battery and tried to restart it. Now it will turn over 3 times but will not start or turn over anymore than that.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

Try searching this forum for "Mystery No Start" Its probably the Relay Control Module or Crankcase Position Switch

Try search for skreem module.. disconnect battery and see will it let you crank a couple more times then back to nothing.

Crossfire Problems and Repairs

This is a list of Crossfire Common Problems and their Repairs. The systoms you describe are likely the Relay Control Module or the Crankcase Position "Sensor" (NOT Switch as previously stated)

The Crankase Position Sensor can be purchased here: Crankcase Position Sensor

Are you remotely familiar with the anti theft skreem module lockout?

Crank Positioning Sensor has Absolutely Nothing to do with a dead key at the start position.

I know how a CPS ( Crankshaft Position Sensor ) works, but I am still at a loss why there would be a sensor for the Crank Case Position

Your a topsider oil changer aren't you!

When you pull the belly cover there is a micro switch between the frame and oil pan..that when too much torque is applied it opens the switch and ECU pulls 15 degrees of timing.. please see page 829 in the service manual...

The 'Skreem no more" thread had this as the solution to the problem like this one,
But I disconnected the battery like 12 times, wouldn't that reset everything? Apparently not. So I disconnected the battery one last time. Unplugged the module for a few seconds, then reconnected it and the battery. Keyless entry worked, and the car started right up!
Worth a try I'd say.

Oh.. so you think this could be a skreem module problem? What about the Crank Positioning Sensor?

Maybe tag teaming will get the message across...

Since I can't quite figure out if you are pulling my leg or not, and I searched my service manual for ANY mention of "case position" and found nothing, I'm just gonna go my merry way and ignore this thread.

( and I am NOT a topsider, I remove the pan and clean it and the lower engine stuff with every oil change )

Is it a crank and no fire situation...or a nothing at all situation?

Hi,
There is no crank at all apart from the first reconnection of the battery, it cranks for about 2 seconds and then stops. Sorry for the lack of replies, been waiting to get the ECM out and try that first.

I got the RCM out and it looks like new fresh solder, so probably not the rcm. Which would you check next, the skreem or the crank position Sensor?
