Default Changing Door Speakers

Alright, several months ago I changed the tweeters in both doors and successfully removed door panels, etc.

Now I realize that the large speakers in the bottom part of the door are blown. Do I have to remove the entire door panel to change those speakers as well, or can the grill be removed thereby exposing the speaker.

I sure don't want to go thru removing panels all over again.

Also, can someone tell me the size of the door speakers (not tweeters) I want to get some aftermarket replacements and I need to know the size

Thanks

These guys say 5 1/4", or 6 1/2. Looks like the smaller ones need a bracket to fit.

Door speaker is a 6.5"
If you are using the factory amp then look for speaker systems with an impedance around 2ohms to ensure you maintain power output levels (factory setup is a 2ohm setup, normal aftermarket sits at 4ohms) Infinity and JBL products in the reference and gto lines drop right in and have the same screw hole locations and meet the 2ohm criteria
