I need a wire that is only hot when the ignition is on
Please help me find a wire that is only hot when the ignition is on. I am temporarily removing the glove compartment so that I can mount a device in the dash. I need an always hot wire and one that is only hot with ignition on. I have an SRT6 Roadster. Thank you for your help. Brad

Or splice into the stereo wiring. That will give you both, always hot and ignition hot.

James and Selby, Thank you both for the replies. You would think that I would have thought of that myself. haha. For the stereo wires, can you tell me which is always hot and which is ignition hot only? Thank you again for the help.
