I noticed the same skipping problem when driving and hitting bumps in the road. Figured it wasnt supported in the rear or ......? Replaced it with a Eclipse CD 5425, Eclipse Amp, Focal 6" w/tweeters and JLA Anniversary Edition 10" sub in the rear. Much better.

It's a problem I had with mine. Soon enough it will stop playing cd at all. See your dealer asap!
Had a strong word with my service director at my dealer. Trying to make me happy so I would get out of his face, he let it slip after replacing mine with a new one, that a untold amount of cd players left the factory (cd player factory not Chrysler) with falty readers. And the dealers have been advised to replace "no qusetion asked" It's not a recall so they wont tell you this. I have an o4 with less then 2000mi on it. it's not a recall because they don't know how many got out with the bad readers and not all will show signs of a problem.
