Electrical Noise Factory Amp & Head
I know there have been postings on this but I couldn't find and answers.
Generally the Crossfire ICE is quiet but the other day I had my PDA with GPS plugged into the lighter to charge with the engine off, but aux and radio on a FM station. There was a clearly audible "white" static type noise. Tried the CD and the same, unplugged the PDA from the charger lead, all quite.
Any ideas?
Malcolm

Try plugging the power cord for the PDA in by itself. I would suspect it is noise coming from the power cord. They usually have a "switcher circuit" and with out proper filtering (capacitors) you could hear is oscillate. If you only here from the PDA then it is coming from the PDA. I don't think it is your stereo, you pretty much eliminated that buy your description.
