Default Battery Draining

Hello, First time posting...so I was riding in a great sunny day. When I stopped and went inside a sudden downpour appeared and I did not have my top up. Long story short...inside was drenched. After this my battery would have a phantom drain and I would have to jump-start it. I narrowed the drain down to the radio and I pulled out the radio and the battery no longer drains overnight. My question is, since I removed the stereo and there no longer is a drain, can I correctly assume there is an issue in the radio, and by replacing the radio with a new one all will be well? Sorry I am not a mechanic or electrician, I am just using the power of deductions. Anything else I should be looking at? Thanks

Default Re: Battery Draining

The issue could also be the amp, under the floor on the passenger side. I would at least check under there first.
