battery dead with windows all down and spoiler up
My neighbor stopped by today. She had installed a new battery a few weeks ago (yearly for her). She told me when she parks her 2007 coupe, does whatever women do when they shop, and returns to the parking lot, her windows are down and her spoiler is up. I suggested she get a battery maintainer and plug it in when she's not driving it. She may let it sit for a week or two weeks before she drives it. I believe something is draining her battery. I know when I parked mine for awhile it acted a bit different than it normally does if I drive it frequently.. Someone on this site indicated a low battery does cause issues. Any advice you could suggest I could share with her?
Thanks for your time

She can try removing fuse #9 in the big fuse box under the hood. Just verify that is the correct fuse for the alarm. It should be listed on the card in the fuse box.
Here's a link to a post I did that shows how to replace or remove the alarm siren. The drains should also be cleaned while she's in there.
Alarm siren and drain cleaning.
I think removing fuse #9 prevents the FOB from locking/unlocking doors; You may have to use the key in the drivers door.
