Default Anyone have powered sub in their roadster?

I was looking for a little more bass when the top is down. The stock speakers sound fine for mid/highs but they don't have any low end to speak of (not talking about earth shaking bass).

I was looking at the Audiobahn powered 10" sub from Crutchfield. It seems it would fit nicely in the small roadster trunk and easily removable if needed for space. Anyone have experience with them or better yet, have one in their xfire?

It seems install would be relatively easy as well...when you pull the stock radio out with the keys, can you access the wiring harness from there or do you have to take the dash apart before you get to the wiring? I also didn't see much metal in the trunk area to ground a powered sub too...has that been a problem for you guys that have subs in the car? Last question, about the alternator...would a 100 watt sub like what Im looking at need a different alternator?...I wouldn't think so, but I haven't been into stereos in a long time.

Thanks for any help and input...
Brian
