Dear All, I need to buy a replacement alternator for my crossfire Roadster, I got a price today for $3034 from dealership and $135 to install, expensive I think so I googled parts etc in the US and came across a number of sites willing to ship to Australia, the alternator price being only max $300 + $50, has anyone had dealing with autoparts warehouse or buy auto parts? I am amazed at the price differences

If I decide to purchase in the US, what information would I need to provide them part number etc?

Damo..Did you get you replacement Alternator??..If not you should be looking at a Merc 320 replacement which should be cheaper especially if you get reconditioned one ..and yes parts from the US are a lot cheaper...Clive
