Default spare wheel

Hello all, has anyone found a space saver wheel that would fit the crossfire, I am to believe there is a vw space saver that will fit? Also if the tyre diameter is different would this revolution rate effect the traction control or the esp./abs braking/ any one have any clues?? Saltiga

The attached thread is a discussion from a few years ago about a space saver tire as a spare. I purchased one several years ago, but never used it as of this date. Since it is a steel wheel, shorter wheel studs must be used, cannot use the existing lugs that came with the car. I am not aware if a VW spare will fit, based upon the brake calipers, you may want to check. I do believe the lug pattern is 5X112 on the VW, so it should fit, since our pattern is the same.
Good luck,
Dennis
