Just drove over the Coquihalla Highway to Vancouver. What a hoot in the Crossfire. This car never has to kick down to a lower gear no matter what the hill.
For fun I dropped it into 4th from Drive and you can literally climb the steepest hill as quickly as you want without straining the motor at all. I also carefully logged the gas mileage on the return trip from Calgary to Vancouver and much to my surprise, even with all the hills, it got 35 mpg. (29 US. mpg.) That is amazing since I am lucky to break 20 mpg in the City.
