Hi,

Yes, there is one more Crossfire owner in the GTA !!

I live in Whitby and have a 2005 Roadster, and I love it.

I am looking for a "Multifunction Tool" as I did not get one when I purchased my Crossfire from Chrysler. They kept promissing me one but never came through with it. Any ideas where to get one cheaper than $200.00 CDN? I checked ebay and no luck.

Cool Re: Are you in Toronto??

Hi Maggie...............you're just south of me.

Excuse my ignorance but what Multi Function tool are you looking for? Is it the little screwdriver do-hickey that they provide to pry the centre cap off? or is something else I am not thinking of?

Anyways, I hope you can join a bunch of us owners that are getting together on July 4th down in Pickering, at TurboSportique and then for lunch.

Is this the $200 multi-function tool? If so they can be found on ebay quite cheaply. I had to ask for mine at the dealer as it was not in the car when I purchased it, I have a 6 speed so it only has one use for me.

I'm not sure that I reccognize that.............possibly it is only for AutoStick cars?

Mine looks different and only purpose I can think of is for the centre caps.........slotted screwdriver works just as well.

The tool is for stuck auto transmissions, unlatching 'vert roofs and removing the lower rad grill to get at the front towing hook. I call it the Crossfire toolkit. It is also OK to crack walnuts with.

The multi-function tool, as it is known, is shown on pages 125, 126 and 173 of the 2004 Coupe Owners manual.
It must be shown in the owners manual of the years with convertibles to unlatch the roof in an emergency also.

When this car was made they put this tool in various places around the car, something like an Easter egg hunt. I did not find one and got one from the dealer.
For the first time ever I went to put something in the pocket on the bulkhead behind the driver and between the seats, under the umbrella clips, VOILÀ I found the multifunction tool. It has been there untouched since Nov.2003. Have a look yours may be there as well.

Unfortunately the tool was not there; I have been using that little pouch for CDs and small tool kit but I rechecked it again.

I need to check again under the rear compartment (jack, etc.) but I think the only tool is the 'slotted screwdriver' type thing used for wheel cap removal. You will have to show me that mystery tool on July 4th.
