Awe crap! That explains why I didn't get a reply to my pm in regards to the "over the net" tune vs bringing the car down to Houston for a dyno tune. I'm a day late and a dollar short again. Oh well, There's always next time!
As the cables start to arrive and the weather gets better the anticipation in getting your tune continues to build. If you are attending the GTG on April 30th for your tune, you will need to provide some information regarding your ride in advance so that Eurocharged will be prepared. Onehundred80 has offered to collect and compile this info, so please expect a pm from him shortly.
All you guys are going to be so happy when this tune is done. I couldn't believe the difference. I just want to go driving all the time. I added K&Ns plus a 74mm TB and want to get it back on the DYNO to see what it is doing. The other day I screwed up and put Regular gas in it. I refilled with Premium and what a difference. I think the Tune really brings out the best in the " WHOLE CAR", love it. Eurocharged Performance does a great job and are just really nice guys, they love the cars too.
Hello everyone, let me introduce myself, my name is Mike from Eurocharged Canada, our Toronto office has recieved an email regarding a tuning day for the Crossfire forum, me and my partner Barry would be more than happy to attend on the April 30th meet.
a little background about myself, I've been in the tuning industry for about 16 years, I've been providing technical advice for german tuners such as Brabus, APR & Kleemann and even Mercedes Benz of Canada, and i work closely with AMG of germany. I started tinkering with cars, since I got my first VW Cabrio, and did a crazy engine swap.. and turned it into an AWD car, I took my car to SEMA (aftermarket car show) where i made a lot of industry connections, and that is when the tuning fever began.. so a few years later i have turned my hobby into a part-time business
I just wanted to clear some things up, as some members seem to to think that we (eurocharged canada) will be the ones tuning the car, this is NOT TRUE, Jerry will be online with us remotely, all we do is plug in our equipment and make sure the equipment runs smoothly and things go as planned.
we look forward to meeting the members of this forum, and if you have any questions regarding the tunes, please don't hesitate to email one of us

Steve
They couldn't tune my car today because of a cable error.
Clint is overnighting a proven cable to me, I hope it gets here tomorrow. Overnight to P.R. is iffy. But the logmein etc. went smoothly, no thanks to me and my PC ignorance. I'm really excited and anxious to have it done ..... hopefully tomorrow.

Neither have I, Steve. I haven't been in touch with Mike from EC either, but if I haven't seen the cable by next Tuesday I will contact him. I suppose the important thing is that Steve (Bluecoupe) has his.
I'm really looking forward to our Tune-Day and seeing you guys. Steve, I have not received my box of goodies from Rudy yet but I did remind him to add into the box, whatever you are expecting to get. He said he will send me the tracking info as soon as he posts the box.
I'm expecting to receive a year's worth of Christmas gifts in the mail soon. Nav radio and parts, iPod adapter, QT top switch and perhaps even a 74mm Throttle Body to play with next winter, (although I read one post that said it was a 20 minute job for the uninitiated!). I'm need it to be the plug and play variety.
Steve, is there anything that you'd like me to bring that day in the way of tools, laptop, long ethernet cable or anything? I'm afraid that if I brought my Nomex suit for Beaner, he'd look like Mr. Bibendum if a gust of wind came along! I think that I need to loose a few pounds. My Crossfire entry/exit is apparently even less graceful to watch than it feels like! My wife is not impressed.
I can't wait to get that tune done! Thanks again, everyone for organizing this event.

Pitmarshall, - Bluecoupe and I went to visit Ruby and Paul this past Saturday. I didn't even think of picking up your stuff for you if it was not shipped before we got there.
The Eurocharged guy (Mike) should have a cable with him also. There will be plenty cables around if yours has not came in the mail before the tune date

You did not think of mine either. Nice guys.
John, thanks for the offer, I think we're good! I'll try my laptop outside and let you know if we need a long cable. Visiting Paul & Rudy was a real treat, as always I was amazed by the quality of their work. The whole trip is a bit of a blur, with 42 hours between hitting a pillow and as Beaner pointed out it was exactly 6 months to the day that we had last been there to drop his car off for the ultimate upgrade!
Will those people showing up for the tune in Grimsby at bluecoupes pm me the engine modifications on their cars. This enables the mods to be taken into account when the tune is done.
If you do not send anything to me the assumption will be that there are no mods are on the car.
This list will be forwarded to EuroCharged prior to the date of the tune.
