Can anyone tell me if that's a decent deal or not? I'm new to the crossfire forum but I have an 05 graphite 6 speed coupe, now with 25K miles. I bought it with only 14K miles back in late 09.
I'm now looking for an SRT6 too.
I'm now looking for an SRT6 too.
I think it was 928 Roadsters and something like 2080 Coupes.
That means there were only a handful of black SRT Roadsters.
THat would be my choice for an SRT - but I can't do a damn thing till at least spring - if even then.

I've seen people buy SRT Roadsters with 10,000 or so miles on them for $20,000 - well, I saw ONE guy do it, back in the fall of 2009.
The thing is, it's a low miles car (that probably needs tires after all these years), and it's (for me) the right color and it is, after all, one of 928 produced. (I am sure of the number of SRT Roadsters, just can't remember the number of Coupes they built.)
If I could, I'd offer them $20,000 and if they agreed, I'd try to get Danimal or Kimpossible to go look at it - if it passed their inspection, I'd send a down payment and get a plane ticket....
Oh, DAMN, I WISH I could do it - but have too much going on with the new job, etc.

As for the price I think a low milage SRT roadster at or below 20k is a great price if the color is the right one for you and it checks out fine. You could wait and shop for a better price but if you like this one why wait over a couple of grand.
Great idea to get a forum member to check the car out. I would say the sooner the better.
