2005 Crossfire SRT 6 Roadster about 55K - Feeler
Thanks for the interest.
Yes there is a shot in the album section:
CrossfireForum.org - MiamiTVR's Album: 2013 Fall Devil's Triangle
Everything to return it to stock is stored and would be included with the sale. All the plastic looks as new.
If you would like additional shots or further information I would be glad to send it directly to your email.

Someone that knows people better than me, maybe Mae West, once said Firm Offers that become flaccid and subject to shrinkage when its time to perform make no one happy.
That said, I will set a price on the car. $18,500. I will listen to any offers over that amount in person after the car has been viewed and driven. I will even consider offers somewhat less, maybe. I am guessing, I think.
The reason it is for sale is that life as I knew it changed shortly after its purchase:

While I would love to save this car from the fate it seems destined to while parked outside in the woods, I don't think anyone is even going to nibble with a price of $18.5k. You said twice in different posts that you aren't looking to make a profit, just break even. The car sold 2 years ago for $14.5k. Not sure how putting more miles on it and letting it sit outside where you have had multiple cars eaten by rodents increases it's value by over 27%. We all love the crossfire here, but most realize they are meant to be enjoyed by driving them, not as an investment. Will they be worth big money in another 15 years? Possibly, but more than likely will be valued the same as mid 80s turbo dodges.
GLWS, I do hope you find someone to buy the car that will enjoy it and take care of it better than you have.

Thank you for you input and suggestions. I, too, hope I can find someone with a fine garage. As nice as 109 acres of nature is it does have some drawbacks.
The car was yours for the the price I purchased it from you for until you tried to low ball me. With that I felt you released me from the courtesy I extended you. As I have said, you took great care of the car and I appreciate that. I merely tried to equal that care. Circumstances beyond my control have prevented same.
The car has no problems that I am trying to run away from and I have no pressing needs for the funds. As an enthusiast I am just feeling I am not keeping it in the environment it deserves. The return sought is a cost of funds and far from what the return has been on any number of my other investments.
I have never seen a previous owner so closely follow a car they sold nor be so concerned as to comment on the next owner's asking price. The care you gave it is evident. I am sorry you had to sell the car and glad I was there for you when you needed to. Have you asked yourself if this obsession is healthy for yourself?
I sold my long owned TVR 3000S in a distress sale when I needed to cover a tuition payment. I never once let anyone other than the buyer know the selling price. It has appreciated nearly 100% since then. In that time he has driven it far more and and far harder than I ever did. I am just happy for him. The funny thing is people admiringly speak of "his" car often. I just smile and let them.
I am not sure of your automotive ownership experience but I have owned, loved and cared for many, many, many cars. Almost every one of which is worth more today than they were when I bought them. And, when I sold them.

According to present owner there are several things on the car needing repair that were not disclosed in ad prior to my inquiry, but which he himself told me during negotiations: Alarm doesn't work as oem; hubcaps are flaking paint or something; tire pressure monitor sensor receiving unit in car does not work; tires front to rear do not match in brand; one front tire is newer than the other; rodents have left acorns under the hood, hence raising the question of wiring damage. Finally he says he is trying to break even, but I learned from his seller, Brian, that he only paid $14,500 a couple of years ago before put 5 or 6K on the car. Now he wants more than he paid for it.
It seems to be a nice car overall but custom grill and medallions are not original. I wish him and you the best of luck.

This car has four inspected, matched tires of similar wear mounted on the stock SRT wheels. Two caps show miniscual scratches. Photos will be provided to any interested parties as they were to Mr Simmons. The car also has another set of two unmounted tires and four perfect custom rims. Two of the tires were flat spotted at the time purchase. Two are excellent with one having around 5K on it. This is a matched set, also. Six good tires and eight near perfect wheels with hardware are included in the sale.
When purchased the TPM system light was lit. I have verified I have eight properly functioning sending units and assume it is the receiver. Shortly after purchase I discovered the alarm module was likely out. This is an easy fix but feel my club affords the protection I need. Adjustments to price or repairs will be offered with deposit.
Also, while assured the car had a clean history and it does as related to not having had any accidents, I have discovered it was once repocessed. I would not have purchased the car had I known this but in living with it these years have felt my concern was not warranted in this case.
This car has extensive performance modifications that are tested, proven, in place and work flawlessly and seamlessly. and from respected producers. All parts, mechanical and cosmetic, except the gear shift **** are available to return the car to OE stock and will be included in the sale. All tinting is easily removable plastic. Badges are easily removable plastic tape. Original and custom grills included in sale.
For transparency, Mr Simmons made a me a FIRM OFFER which I could have but would not accept until I disclosed any deviations from perfection. This is probably one of the best SRT 6s available but it arrived and is less than perfect. Hours prior his schedule arrival, not after getting the condition report, he revised his FIRM OFFER. It seems he has a number of FIRM OFFERS floating around. There were never any negociations. I declined both offers and the follow up open ended one.

Good luck in the hunt.
Only because it has been mentioned so often, particularly by me, I feel I should address the conditions in which my Crossfire lives and a bit about me.
I am the guy who puts a tonneau type cover on my car whenever it is at rest to protect the interior and a full car cover on when it will be stationary for any period of time. I hand wash my cars with just clean water using mit and chamois to dry. I maintain towels in every cubby in case there is ever a spill. I have owned numerous black on black cars and know how to maintain them. My first car, at fourteen, was a triple black convertible.
My Crossfire is parked next to my Jaguar under portable carports but unlike the Jaguar I have sides and a back to protect the Crossfire. Even with this I have three covers on the car. The first is a heavy nap indoor cover which is followed by a layered breathable water resistant cover and then a sun and water resistant reflective cover. On top of this I secure a waterproof vinyl covering. But it is not a garage, so I worry.
In nine years a rodent has chewed two wires on my Volvo and four on my Jaguar (which in all fairness it might have arrived with) but did create a problem with the pickup in an under body unprotected area. There has been no damage to the Crossfire.
My cars usually quickly sell (often in days, more than once in hours) usually to nieghbors who have witnessed my fanatasism in caring for my cars. I just no longer have neighbors and do not drive the car enough for others to see it.
I am a believer in full disclosure and have nothing to hide about the this car. I encourage anyone interested to not make an offer until it is fully checked out by themselves or their representative. I will facilitate same.
And, I drive like a granny.
update
Between the personable barrister of questionable intent passing out Firm Offers to various Crossfire owners like a third grader passing out cards on Valentines Day and the obsessed stalker exowner of my car busy on my thread like a jilted lover posting videos of his exgirlfriend, it has been a heck of a week.
The best thing I can think to do is uncover my near flawless Black beauty and gently address some of these mountain curves leaving all this in my wake.
