2005 Crossfire SRT 6 Roadster about 55K - Feeler
I see a silver 2005 S-Type R in Texas with 52k miles on Cars.com for $12,995. They probably wouldn't give you that much on trade, but it might be worth a shot. If you do go to trade the car in, I will offer you whatever they offer on trade to get the car back. I would hate to see a dealer get it and it end up in the hands of someone that won't care for it like a SRT roadster deserves to be treated.

It appears it is just you and me interested in this fine car.
My six month (!!!!!) car hunt for a daily driver has lead me down many a path but not towards compromise. I buy to keep (as contradictory as that might sound). When the feeler ad for my V-R Volvo resulted in a sale within three hours I should have known I was making a mistake.
Early on I found my best values but as I have gotten more educated on the S-type R I have narrowed my focus and more limited the market. My latest obsession is a one of one 2007 R that is priced too high but whispers my name and touches all the right stuff.
The Crossfire has been rained on twice since it left your hands which fills me with guilt in that I am not sure you ever allowed it to get wet. If I can get over wanting to maintain it perfectly then I could use the truck which I do not enjoy driving as much less but in any case I need to carry more things than this car allows for.
You know my cost basis and I am not looking to make money just break even. Email me if warranted.
This car will never be traded in and has not been advertised beyond this posting.
That is when it gets most dangerous. That was a nice ride we took last fall. We will have to pick up the pace next time.
No.
I think maybe I have not because then it would transition from a feeler situation to a confirmed sales situation. Then I would need to post on various sites and hang out at the Dragon some weekend with a sign in the window.
You are in the unique position of being part of a select and limited group that knows I would part with my car.
Thank you for your interest. It is an exceptional car.

Send some photos and a price my email address cnj1933@***.net thank you
I hope I come to my senses before going through with this but after my house burnt down and the snow storm took out the carport I find my priorities shifting some. While not ready to price it I might accept an offer in the upper teens on it.
Recently purchased from a forum member, accident-free, I doubt this car was ever even dirty until my ownership which is something I have never said about any of the many cars I have owned. The only time I have given it a work out was with the Devil's Triangle group last fall. It has not even visited the Dragon.
Unless pressing that right foot down or turning the wheel, one would think this car was bone stock. That assumption would be very, very wrong. Smooth and incredibly fast this is by far the best handling, most responsive, fastest trouble-free car I have ever owned and I have owned many.
All stock parts including SRT wheels and tires come with this car. This car deserves a garage as it has had until just recently.
I will update with details. Photos are in gallery. Captured on the Devil's Triangle run video one car up from the filming car.
This offer may be retracted at any time.[/QUOTE]

Original wheels put back on but custom wheels retained. There is a small but noticeable difference in the sharpness of response.
Try putting it on Crossfiremarket to reach more ppl. Http://www.srt-6.com/market.html
Perfect. It will automatically put all the listings on facebook channels. Thanks for adding the listing bud.
Exactly as I feared but it got the Jag not the Crossfire.
As if the couple of hundred spent spent rewiring the back lights for the Volvo wagon and just under two hundred to rewire everything in the back of the pickup were not enough, I am just back from going to four places and finally the dealer to have the 25 codes addressed on the new 11,000 mile Jag. All it took was rewiring four wires and about $600.
The common fault: Rodents.
The three cats, moth *****, dryer sheets, fresh cab and sticky traps don't do it and I cannot use poison due to all the wild life in these woods. Carport and three varied textures of covers does not a brick garage make. Help preserve this fine Crossfire and prevent it suffering a similar fate. The fine car deserves a more protected environment.
I sold my Volvo in three hours to a buyer across the country with one feeler ad on one site and it was not nearly the car this one is. More than 4,000 views and nary an offer. Those that have seen this car know its condition and at least a few know how it performs.

Update - Things just keep getting more complicated.
While I still have not found a builder for my garage I have sort of inherited another convertible with not a whole lot of value but lots of fun. It will make a great "blue jean" car.
2001 Miata in hard to match mechanical shape but with scars from life in the city. Three convertibles with room for just one extras passenger is hard for even me to justify with me being the only driver.
No interest in my Crossfire despite its being built on that special factory line reserved for only the finest and fastest Crossfires, the Black line and having Indy connections?
How about a 2001 Miata with mileage in the 80's and basically one family, two female ownership? Runs and handles as new. Small dents and rub spots upon close inspection. No rust having lived in Florida, California and Atlanta all its life. Never smoked in. Never wrecked. Full documentation, records and manuals. How is $7,250 for it?
Update: Miata sold to first person who came out to see it.

I do not want to sell this car but cannot justify $50K plus to build the garage this car needs. It kills me to find acorn shells in the engine compartment of this beautifully maintained car. I feel irresponsible in not having it locked away from potential rodent damage. It is a quandry. This must be one of the better SRt6s available for anyone considering a step up in performance. Smooth. Proven. Very Fast.
Usually my cars sell in days and to nieghbors but now I live in the woods and it is the nieghbors that are creating the problem and my own lack of enthusiasm to sell contributes. I have never had a car I have more enjoyed.
Any interest before I put it on eBay?

I could be interested in buying the car back. I could give it the home it deserves in a garage that the car is familiar with. We could just count it as a 2 year lease for the time you have had it. A Chrysler 200 will cost you $249/mo to lease for 2 years, but I will give you a discount and we can call it $200/mo. How does $4800 less than what you paid sound? I think it is a fair offer. You could probably convince me to let you continue to drive it until summer is over to enjoy the last couple of months with the car.

Thanks for stoppin by. You should have bought the Miata. That would have fit in to your budget with gas paid forward for a number of years.
I have viewed my role actually as more of a caretaker than a user. That $4,800 on top of the purchase price would do it today and I would still feel bad about the sale. This is a fine car you sold me.
