Default Who wanted temp sensor probe?

Someone wanted the temp sensor probe in lower front grille. I have one in hand. PM me and let me know who wanted it.

Is the sensor probe mounting bracket a removable part? Dealer says there's no listing. My sensor keeps slipping out from the mount. Squirrel Crusher

If this is still a problem, I can tell you what I did. I drilled out the hole, filed down the back of the bracket, and pushed the probe in from the front - and then connected the connector from behind.

I don't fear water getting into the connector for three reasons:

1) I added a little silicone sealant to the "fins" of the connector.
2) I think the front cover will keep most wind and water from getting in.
3) It is not a critical function anyway - but I sure do use the temp indicator a lot!
