Two kids in a BMW thought they just had to see if they could out run my Xfire. They couldn't.

Yes, there is no doubt...street racing is a wonderful endeavor.

Getting quite testy there! As someone from the medical profession, I get your sarcasm (if that's your vibe!). I have to say you do have a point - after what I've seen on the roads. But I guess we have not lost that primal urge that gladiators had in the days of old despite our levels of civilized behavior!!

Virtually daily, but the vast majority do not drive cars that are worthy for me to give it a second thought...(how snotty of me, and not that I actually race the few Porches in the area)!

Absolutely...In Maryland, if you are racing and involved in a fatal accident, you can be convicted of vehicular manslaughter, up to ten years in jail, and you will be sent to a few years in jail for the death...if it's not racing, probably cannot be convicted of anything more than reckless driving, probably no jail time, and your insurance company is the only one on your side who gets hurt, though the potential people who are killed are obviously also victims. If you need to race, find a licensed race track somewhere in the area...
